BMW Motorrad chooses Conti TKC 80s for Urban G/S, Scrambler

BMW once again trusts Continental to equip two of its 2021 models.  The 2021 BMW R nineT Urban G/S and the BMW R nineT Scrambler, are being released with improved with more traction power, more standard features, and new designs. In addition, those who decide to buy one of these models with off-road configuration, will be fitted with Continental TKC 80 tires as standard.

Among the most important modifications on the 2021 BMW R nineT Urban G/S and Scrambler are the maximum power, which is now 80 kW (109 hp) at 7250 rpm, while the maximum torque remains 116 Nm at 6000 rpm. The designs have also been altered on the cylinder head, cylinder head cover and throttle valve parts. In addition, both models come standard with ABS Pro with DBC (Dynamic Brake Control) and a new suspension strut with travel-dependent damping (WAD).

Also included are two riding modes – “Rain” and “Road,”– classic design speedometer with new dial, LED lights, USB charging socket as standard and new paint finishes, highlighting the “40 Years GS Edition” of the Urban G/S, which is available as a limited edition. Finally, Continental is providing its TKC 80on the off-road configuration of the BMW R nineT Urban G/S and Scrambler.
