R 1200 GS tear down continues with cylinder head removal

The tear down of our parts bike, a 96,000-mile 2005 BMW R 1200 GS, has kicked back into gear. Follow along as we disassemble the engine and transmission, starting here with removing the front cover, alternator (and alternator belt) and cylinder heads.
