Updates coming for 2022 BMW Motorrad models
BMW Motorrad USA recently released information detailing the updates and changes to model year 2022 motorcycles and scooters as well as new accessories. For complete information, please visit your BMW Motorrad dealer. 2022 Model updates include:
C 400 GT
With a base price of $8,495, new model year updates include powertrain updates, ASC updates, better brakes and a lighted storage compartment. Alpine White is the standard color with Callisto Grey Metallic and Black Storm Metallic as options.
G 310 R
With a base price of $5,045, the G 310 R remains unchanged from the previous year model with Cosmic Black 2 replacing Cosmic Black as the standard color and Kyanite Blue Metallic Style Passion and Limestone Metallic Style Sport available as optional colors.
F 750 GS
Base price TBA. Expected in late 2021, the updated F 750 GS includes Light White as the standard color and Black Storm Metallic 2 Style Triple Black and San Marino Blue Metallic Style Sport as optional colors. The 40th Years of GS Edition has been removed.
An updated Select Package ($1,000) includes GPS Prep, Cruise Control, Ride Modes Pro, Heated Grips, Dynamic Engine Brake Control and a Luggage Rack. An updated Premium package ($2,400) includes Select Package content plus LED Style Elements, Gear Shift Assist Pro, Keyless Ride, Dynamic ESA and TPM tire pressure monitor.
F 850 GS
Base price TBA. Expected late 2021, Racing Red remains the standard color with Black Storm Metallic 2 Style Triple Black and Racing Blue Metallic Style Rallye as optional colors. The 40th Years of GS Edition has been removed.
The updated Select Package ($950) includes GPS Prep, Cruise Control, Ride Modes Pro, Heated Grips, Dynamic Engine Brake Control and a Luggage Rack. An updated Premium package ($2,350) includes Select Package content plus LED Style Elements, Gear Shift Assist Pro, Keyless Ride, Dynamic ESA and TPM tire pressure monitor.
F 850 GS Adventure
Base price TBA. Expected late 2021, Light White replaces Ice Gray as the standard color with Black Storm Metallic 2 Style Triple Black and Kalamata Matte Metallic Style Rallye as options.
The updated Select Package ($1,350) includes GPS Prep, Cruise Control, LED fog lights, Ride Modes Pro, heated grips, aluminum side case holders and Dynamic Engine Brake Control. The updated Premium Package ($3,100) includes Select Package content, LED Style Elements, Gear Shift Assist Pro, Keyless Ride, Dynamic ESA and TPM tire pressure monitor.
F 900 R
With a base price of $8,995, the bike is expected in late 2021 and uses Black Storm Metallic as the standard color and Bluestone Metallic Style Exclusive and Light White/Racing Blue/Racing Red Style Sport as options.
Select Package ($975) components include Heated Grips, TPM tire pressure monitor, Dynamic Traction Control, Gear Shift Assist Pro, Ride Modes Pro and ABS Pro. Premium Package ($2,500) components include Select Package content and Dynamic ESA, Headlight Pro, Adaptive Headlight, Dynamic Engine Brake Control, Keyless Ride, GPS Prep, Cruise Control and Saddle Bag Mounts.
F 900 XR
With a base price of $11,695 and expected to arrive in late 2021, Light White remains as the standard color with Racing Red Style Sport and Black Storm Metallic 2 Style Triple Black as options.
The updated Select Package ($950) includes GPS Prep, Cruise Control, Heated Grips, Saddle Bag Mounts, Dynamic Traction Control, Ride Modes Pro and ABS Pro. Updated Premium package ($2,400) includes Select Package content, Dynamic ESA, Keyless Ride, Main Stand, Headlight Pro, Adaptive Headlight, Gear Shift Assist Pro, Dynamic Engine Brake Control and TPM tire pressure monitor.
R nineT Pure
Expected in late 2021 with a base price of $10,995, Mineral Grey Metallic remains the standard color with Option 719 Aluminum, Option 719 Black Storm Metallic/Racing Red, Option 719 Cosmic Blue Metallic/Light While and Teal Blue Metallic Matte available as options.
R nineT Scrambler
Available in late 2021 with a base price of $13,495, Granite Grey Metallic remains the standard color with Kalamata Metallic, Option 719 Black Storm Metallic/Racing Red and Option 719 Cosmic Blue Metallic/Light White available as options. Updated Select Package ($1,000) components include Ride Modes Pro, Heated Grips, Cruise Control, Adaptive Headlight, Headlight Pro, Dynamic Engine Brake Control and Dynamic Traction Control.
R nine T Urban G/S
Available in late 2021 with a base price of $13,995, Imperial Blue Metallic is the only available color. Updated Select Package ($1,500) components include Ride Modes Pro, Heated Grips, Cruise Control, Adaptive Headlight, Headlight Pro, Dynamic Traction Control and Black Cross Spoke Wheels.

Available in late 2021 with a base price of $15,945, Black Storm Metallic remains the standard color with Option 719 Aluminum Matt, Option 719 Night Black/Aluminum Matt and Option 719 Mineral White Metallic/Aurum available as options.
Updated Select Package ($1,000) components include Ride Modes Pro, Heated Grips, Cruise Control, Adaptive Headlight, Headlight Pro, Dynamic Engine Brake Control and Dynamic Traction Control.

While Sport and Select Packages have been removed, the updated Premium Package ($2,525) includes Chrome Exhaust, Heated Grips, TPM tire Pressure monitor, Gear Shift Assist Pro, Ride Modes Pro, Dynamic Engine Brake Control, ABS Pro, Dynamic Traction Control, Keyless Ride, GPS Prep and Cruise Control.
R 1250 RS

Updated Premium Package ($4,500) components include Keyless Ride, Chrome Exhaust, Central Locking, Seat Heating, Alarm, Bluetooth Connectivity, 12V socket, Dynamic ESA, Gear Shift Assist Pro, Ride Modes Pro, Active Cruise Control, Adaptive Headlight, Dynamic Engine Brake Control, Headlight Pro, Auxiliary Lights and tire pressure monitor (TPM).
S 1000 R
Available now at a base price of $14,545.
S 1000 XR
With a base price of $17,945 and expected in late 2021, Racing Red is the new standard color with New Black Storm Metallic 2 Style Triple Black and New Light White with M Package available as options.
Select Package ($650) components include Heated Grips, TPM tire pressure monitor and Luggage Grid. M Package ($2,600) components include Light White paint, M Endurance Chain, Sport Muffler, M Sport Seat, M Lightweight Battery, Sport Windshield and M Forged Wheels. Premium Package ($2,650) components include Select Package content, GPS Prep, USB Socket, Hand Protection, Center Stand, Keyless Ride, Dynamic ESA Pro, Gear Shift Assist Pro, Cruise Control, Adaptive Headlight and LED Auxiliary Lights.
S 1000 RR
Expected in late 2021 with a base price of $16,995, Black Storm Metallic remains the standard color with Mineral Grey Metallic Style Passion and Light White/Racing Blue/Racing Red with M Package available as options.
Premium Package ($2,825) components include Endurance Chain, Sports Muffler, Dynamic Damping Control, Ride Modes Pro, USB Socket, Heated Grips, Cruise Control and TPM tire pressure monitor. Updated M Package ($2,250) components include Light White/Racing Blue/Racing Red colors, Blue M Brake Calipers, Black Fuel Filler Cap, M GPS LapTrigger software, M Sport Seat, Lightweight Battery and Forged Wheels.
M 1000 RR
Expected in late 2021 with a base price of $32,495, the new for 2022 model is only available in Light White and will include M GPS LapTrigger Software, Passenger Kit, Rear Seat Cover, Carbon Package and M Billet Pack.
R 18 and R 18 Classic
Expected in late 2021 with a base price TBA, Option 719 Galaxy Dust Metallic/Titanium Silver 2 Metallic has been added as optional. The bikes also include reverse assistance and black drivetrains with the First Edition designation removed.
K 1600 models
