Introducing the all-new MICHELIN® Road 6 Tire

The Road 6 improves on the already legendary performance of the Road series tires, by increasing wet grip, improving life and increasing cornering stability.

The Road 6 provides 15% more grip than the Road 5 in wet conditions thanks to MICHELIN® Silica Technology™ tread compounds and a new tread pattern featuring MICHELIN® Water Evergrip Technology™.

Add to that 10% longer tread life compared to previous generations, and it all reflects the MICHELIN® commitment to improving and innovating over the last two decades.

MICHELIN® 2CT+ Technology™, which has been standard on the rear tire, is now applied to the front tire for better rigidity at lean, and more stability when cornering, especially under strong acceleration or heavy braking, compared to previous generations.

The new MICHELIN® Road 6 will be available starting in January 2022. For available sizes, refer to the chart on this page.

  • Will it fit on a BMW K1600 without rubbing on the swingarm? Asking for a few thousand friends.

    • You’ll need to contact Michelin about that – I haven’t seen a set yet. Once I do (in the vicinity of a K16), I’ll let you know!
