Orlando Bloom’s custom S 1000 R

Everyone knows Orlando Bloom, the successful actor who played Legolas (Lord of the Rings trilogy) and Will Turner (Pirates of the Caribbean films), but not everyone knows about his passion for motorcycles. As a long-term fan of BMW motorcycles, Bloom owns and rides a number of BMWs, including old classics.

For a custom bike project, he specifically chose the S 1000 R and asked his good friend Michael “Woolie” Woolaway (of Deus Ex Machina in Venice, California) to bring his vision into reality. This stunning S 1000 R Custom is the stunning one-off culmination of their cooperation.

Bloom got his first test ride in the Malibu Hills while shooting 4CYL, a production by Arthur de Kersauson and Clement Beauvais in cooperation with BMW Motorrad.
