Machineart Moto Avant RT-1250 ‘21+ front fender extension

Machineart_Moto, designers of specialized products for BMW motorcycles, introduce the Avant RT-1250 21+, a “No-Drill” front fender extension for the 2021~2022+ liquid-cooled BMW R1250 RT.

BMW changed the design of the RT front fender for the 2021 model year, and the new Avant RT-1250 21+ is designed to fit the new fender shape. Avant clears the RT’s lower fairing and protects the engine surfaces to keep them looking new. The Avant RT-1250 21+ adds 6″ of extra length to the stock front fender to effectively reduce mud, water, tar, and stone splashback onto the engine, pipes, and surrounding components.

A key feature of the Avant line is the ease of installation, with no hole drilling required. Not only is an Avant simple to install, it integrates beautifully with the styling of the 1250 RT. It can be transferred to another bike without leaving disfiguring holes behind, a benefit for resale value. Avant RT-1250 21+ fits over the top of the stock RT fender and engages the trailing end with a unique molded-in
saddle. Two stainless steel compression clamps grip the underside of the stock fender on two sides, drawn tight with T25 Torx screws. Avant RT 1250 21+ are injection molded in resilient polypropylene with a surface texture that matches the RT fender. The characteristic flared-wing shape widens the splash coverage area without looking wide.

The Avant RT-1250 21+ will be available in April 2022. List price is $79.00.
